USDA Food Commodity distribution for Albany County, Wyoming
I-GS distributes USDA Food Commodities for residents of Albany County, Wyoming once per month at 710 East Garfield, Room 127, in the Laramie Plains Civic Center.
Eligibility for commodities include being an Albany County resident and a gross household income at or under 130% of the Federal Poverty Guideline for the 2013 Federal Fiscal Year. The Guidelines are increased for households with a member who is disabled and/or over 65 years of age.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is available to all eligible people regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap, within quantities of USDA commodities available. Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies at (307) 265-2172
Individuals and/or Families unable to pick-up their commodities at the distribution site may have someone else pick-up their commodities if they provide a signed and dated note granting permission to the person picking up their commodities and their combined household income is below the income guideline listed above.
If there are commodities left over, they will be distributed at the I-GS office until they are gone.

The next USDA Food Commodity distribution is Thursday, November 21 from 2 to 5 pm. This month's commodities are unknown at this time and any thing else the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies may send us.
